There are some married people who in retrospect regret ever having gotten married.

Do some single and/or* never married people in retrospect regret having stayed single?

*Some single people are currently single and were previously married.

    Yes, just as there are those who regret being engaged and change their mind but fail to tell the other person.  I've been a little dense....actually a lot of "dense."
