Defend him from what.  The consensus is he has nothing to be defended from.  But I do know there are people in the intelligence field protecting him.

I don't believe Lt. Col. Vindman needs defending.  He did a find job of defending himself.

I understand what you mean, but I think public opinion is on Vindman's side and he knows it.

I don't believe that everyone that voted for Trump wanted him as president.  I have no way of knowing how many, but there has to be a percentage of people who voted for him because they didn't want Clinton.

Every vote counts L. Whether they were voting for dementia don or voting against clinton doesn't matter at all. The votes counted for him whatever the motivation. So I blame them as much as I blame the dementia don lovers. SIGH. Tough old broad am I. Question is will those voting against folks vote against whomever it is that faces dementia and vote him again? They did it once so why not do it again? We shall see. Thank you for your reply! :)

That's a question I can't answer.  I would bet that those who voted for Trump because they liked him and who think he's done a bang-up job will vote for him again.  Whether that will be enough to override votes for whomever the Democrats choose as their candidate remains to be seen.  Don't forget that a lot depends on the Electoral College.

AARRGGHH! I'd like to get rid of that "dam*ed spot"...per Lady MacBeth but where is Shakespeare when you need him?

We'll see if the electorate is still stupid or if is has smartened up.

Of course stupid is all that's evil is it? Smart has its dark side too. Flip a coin. Pick a card.

Protocol in the military requires that no commissioned officer is allowed to demean the president or presidency. They can be fired. That happened to a NATO General when he publicly called Obama a faggot lover. Therefore, backing him up would mean agreeing with him. Buncha pu*****. I hope so...Maybe the generals and admirals aren't as pussified as I thought. He can't fire all of them. I didn't say I agreed with the protocol...it is what it is.

Please allow me to restate what I think you are saying E. His freedom of speech is muzzled. His telling the truth is not allowed because it conflicts with the compulsive liar crackpot prez dementia don. Is that about it? Heretofore before bosses and supervisors BACKED UP THEIR PEOPLE. Now? SIGH. Once upon a time I had an irate customer swear at me and hang up on me. I told my boss and expected him to call the customer and pacify him. Know what he did? He called the cusstomer and told him he didn't want his business any longer and defended me! That is what a boss should do. Defend his/her people. Not attack them or even worse remain silent. I am disgusted. Thank you for your reply!

Army steps up protection of Vindman as White House pushes talking points attacking service member

The Trump administration attempts to discredit Vindman, even though he still works at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

    NOVEMBER 20, 2019 3:50PM (UTC)

The U.S. Army stepped up protection of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and his family as the National Security Council official came under attack from the White House, where he still works.

The White House distributed talking points attacking Vindman on Tuesday, as the Purple Heart recipient testified to the House Intelligence Committee that he twice reported the July 25 phone call on which President Donald Trump solicited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden as the administration withheld military aid appropriated by Congress, according to The Daily Beast. Vindman still serves as the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, but Trump has discussed removing him from the position, CNN reported.
