Witches can be male or female. Originally Warlock meant Breaker of Oath, as in the oath in religion/Christianity. This was the term used for Christians suspected of witchcraft back in the burning times because they thought witches were betrayers to the Christian God by aligning themselves with the Devil which is complete false. Practitioners of Magic/Witchcraft are called Witches, male or female it's gender-neutral. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at November 24, 2019 11:09 AM MST

I don't buy that sweetie. In movies about witches the males are always referred to as WARLOCKS. When I hear the word WITCH I think of Margaret Hamilton in Wizard of Oz...she was the bad witch. Billie Burke was the Good witch. No males at all. The puny wimp who wants most of all to be a macho dude can't even refer to himself as a warlock. What does that tell you? He expects others to do for him what he is inept impotent incapable of doing for himself. He is an obese old lazy slothful man. Who is going to rescue him whether he be witch or warlock? AARRGGH! Thank you for your reply Nanoose. Would you refer to yourself as a witch? I'd never refer to myself as a warlock. There are rules about such things! :) This post was edited by RosieG at November 24, 2019 11:13 AM MST
