If they were acting fairly, Trump likely would not have intervened. Gallager was not the only one in the picture but he was the only on charged. There is also reported retaliation towards him and fellow soldiers who testified on his behalf.
Sorry, I put this under the wrong post. DO NOT REPORT ME. PLEASE. (I really don't care)

Spunky is a tad ticked at me. She took umbrage at my being rude all week. For this, I think I apologize in advance. And if I get PB'd for it? I don't remember exactly what she is referring to, but if I did it? I cannot answer you on the PM but I will take whatever it is I did and say I probably did it and I'm sorry. I know I can be off-putting and obnoxious.
Then there should have been no prosecution. Not picture with soldiers at all. But instead nearly the ENTIRE platoon took a picture and the only one was charged.
The photo was taken at an impromtu reinlistment party for Galleger which Portier arranged. I believe he is in the photo. I cannot find direct confirmation but in comparing a combat pict of him and the platton pict with the terrorist's body....I believe he is standing directly behind Gallagher.
Keep one thing in mind here (and I didn't know this until this morning) - Gallagher was reported by his own men. Considering the loyalty that these me have to each other, how can you not think Gallagher did something wrong if his own men reported him?
I have to imagine SEALS stick pretty close to each other, so for them to report him, they had to believe that he did something over the line, eve if he wasn't convicted.
