Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Is there a time limit to "EVER"? I ask did you EVER have a crush on a co-worker? That means ever including long ago to now. So did you?
Yes. For a short time, a long time ago, I was involved with someone at work. I was very fortunate that it ended by mutual agreement, and we remained friends with no awkwardness working together after that. I realized it could have been disastrous, so I never did that again.
It can be very tricky to maneuver when you're in it and ever more so getting out of it if you still both work there. It can be done. It's just NOT so easy. Thank you for your reply L! :)

I hear ya. Once upon a time a new boss and I hit off. For a very short time and neither one of us was the hysterical kind. Things settled down as they needed to and in time he re-connected with a former secretary and they married and I adored her! Very nifty gal and we became friends so you see things can turn out very well depending on who is involved. And my boss never once worried that I'd cause any problem for him. I'm not wired that way anyway. Thank you for your reply L! :)
Thanks m'dear. Me too. Are you traveling to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving? Fierce storms are blanketing the country or big heavy rain. Mebbe staying home this year is the best option?

I remember probably all of them. I don't have one interesting story. Sorry. I have always had boyfriends and I never cheated and I never took any attraction all that seriously, but it made it more fun to go to work. Now I don't even consider men as romantic partners. I am way past that stage in my life. WAY PAST.
I had a short affair with an art teacher. I also spent a few months gallavanting around the Med while in the Navy with a female sailor on my last ship. Best vacation ever. I still think about her.
