Hmm.  Think I'd take Europe.  I know it's not a country, but the period of time I would want to study discounts national borders.

Middle East: Jordan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia.

Europe: Greece, maybe Italy.

North America: Mexico.

South America: Peru, or Chile.
