Are internal organs affected by exercise or lack thereof? Are the lungs of exercisers significantly smaller than lungs of those who do?

Does smaller mean weaker punier less healthy? Do small-lung folks die sooner than large lung folks?

    Yes they are affected.  Lungs don't technically shrink with lack of exercise, but they don't hold as much air (decreased lung capacity) due to lack of deep breathing (but are still capable of doing so).

    Lack of exercise can aslo -

    * Make a person less cognitive as well as make them more susceptible to mental conditions/diseases (dementia. stroke, depression. anxiety, etc.)
    * Weaken the heart (it is, afterall one big muscle)
    * Make one more susceptible to cancer (breast, colon, prostate, ovarian, etc.)
    * Weaken the bones.
    * Cause muscles to atrophy
    * Lead to blood clots
    * Lead to early/premature death

    Umm...... no.  Before it got cold I used to walk 2 1/2 miles through the park every morning (before sunrise).
