This election is a grudge match among the voters. The mistrust and dislike of these people is clearly off the charts. The disapproval ratings and liabilities these people bring to the chase are breathtaking in scope. You're right when you say that there will be no change in either camp. If you had a video of either one committing a murder, it would change no one's mind. If this proves to be a legitimate election, and I have grave misgivings, it will be decided by those who will vote for neither. Or, if one of the fringe parties pull enough support to change the outcome in a key state that's up for grabs by virtue of being close. The variable that's left to consider will be these so called debates. This is where the Trump candidacy will evaporate in front of millions of viewers, in my own opinion. All she has to do is make him mad and watch the fun as he comes unglued.Polling data aside, this is a Democrat year. It won't be the historic landslide that I had figured on earlier, but convincing just the same. Sadly, this is a turning point in presidential politics that's going to set an unfortunate precedent. Never again will issues and possible solutions to problems raise their ugly head in a campaign. Thanks to the media, that's all over now.
Thank you for your thoughtful reply Polk. Yes. I think the debates will sink Trump. He won't be scripted or have a teleprompter to bail him out. He might wear an earpiece and be coached by smarter folks than he is about how t o respond. I wonder if they check for wiring like that before the candidat

es are allowed on stage? :)
