An Answerbag Answermug long-time friend REMINDED me of something I already knew but forgot. What?

That there may have been NO CBD at all in the product I tried. Just because that product was advertised as containing CBS doesn't mean diddly. Very true. Y'all have heard about the investigations into wines and fish and baby foods and worst of all even CANCER drugs. The liquidy things if they are present at all are WATERED DOWN to make more money....stretch 'em further. If it is cancer drugs that are watered down well the chances of the person dying increases. No biggie right? If it's baby apple juice the baby isn't getting what the parents think it is getting nutritionally. If it's wine you may be getting tasty cheap rotgut instead of the highly touted extremely expensive imported French Reds. Fish? The expensive label could be hiding cheap fish. Wherever providers can cheat you they will for the glory of the bottom line. They don't give a sh** about truth in advertising. As far as they are concerned you're all sheep saps waiting to be taken and since they're right there well they do the taking. And so it goes. Round and round. Cheapskates willing to have folks die (cancer patients) or babies not thrive (apple juice). That's the breaks. Caveat emptor. Right. That's the beauty of soulless CAPITALISM. Morality integrity honor truth is only for saps.

Welcome to America, where the dollar rules and truth/honesty is scraped off the bottom of the shoe.

May I suggest growing your own?  You may need to do some research into the exact strain for your particular ailment.

I'm not a grower Shuhak. I have a brown thumb. Once I find out what the heck is going on in my neck then I can figger out what to do about it. Thank you for your reply. There are stores that can legally sell different kinds of things with "weed" in them. We have a friend who eats "gummy bear" candy laced with CBD. I know there are other foods you can buy and maybe pills. So many people live with pain and try all kinds of things to get some relief from it. I know you say pain is a good thing because it lets you know something is wrong. But once you identify what it is wouldn't it be nice to take something that would mask it? Some conditions are not curable..they are only manageable like arthritis. Thank you for your reply. It's a bit better this morning. So far no spasms or waves of pain. It still hurts but it's tolerable. Maybe if I wait long enough it will cure itself?

My niece has a form of OCD that causes her pull her hair out (Trichotillomania).  Her husband has bad pain in his knees and back (they are both in their 30's).  Drugs don't help either of them.  In an effort to find relief, they started experimenting with different strains of marijuana (home grown).  They say they've found one that is helping them.

I know you got miffed, but I am saying, the one tried and true method of knowing it is a good product is the price.  CBD is not cheap.  And if it is, you are getting what you pay for.

Do you have Sprouts by your house?  It is a grocery store.  Mostly natural products.  You can buy CBD epsom salts there.  You can buy them in drug stores too. But the clue that it is good is the price.  You can try one bath for about 8 bucks.

But, I do not think you will feel too much relief if the pain is in the bones.  I don't know much about how to alleviate that type of pain.  If it is the nerves, yes, but the BONE?  Not sure what that meas even.

I believe you said I shouldn't take cheap crap. Insulting. Your approach and bedside manner leaves a great deal to be desired. Try being informative and knock off the insulting. See what happens. What could it hurt? Thank you for your reply.

NO.  I WAS NOT INSULTING.  YOU are being silly.  It was cheap crap.  You bought cheap crap.  OWN IT.  I buy cheap crap too. If someone told me after I ASKED THEM, I really have no right to take it as an insult. COME ON.

LOOK.  I AM NEVER TRYING TO INSULT YOU.  I WAS NICE ENOUGH TO SEND YOU AN ARTICLE EXPLAINING EVERYTHING ABOUT CBD. DID YOU READ ANY OF IT? NO.  YOU JUST WENT ON HALF-COCKED AND SAID THAT CBD OIL IS GARBAGE.  DID I GET OFFENDED?  DID I CALL YOU OUT FOR NOT READING A WORD?  NO.  I ANSWERED YOU TRUTHFULLY.  MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE SAID THE CBD OIL YOU BOUGHT WAS NOT EXPENSIVE ENOUGH.  OKAY????
