What is the OBLIGATION of ex-presidents to the office they once held and the country they once served?

Are they not obliged to rout out the scum that infiltrates what used to be a highly thought of position? One that was respected worldwide mostly. Do they just sit and watch silently as pond scum infects it and spreads and mold and mildew sets in and ruins it so much that it will never ever exist again in the format set up by the Founding Fathers?

An imposter holds that job now. A lapdogpuppet for the RUSSKIES. He has already recruited all his gubment toady sycophants and adoring worshippers to talk the RUSSKY partyline and support RUSSIA over the United States of America. Being appalled disgusted and outraged is not enough. DO SOMETHING!

Most former Pres have felt they should leave the current President alone and not interfere with politics.

Normally, ex-presidents leave the current president alone.  BUT this is not NORMAL.  I think Obama and Clinton and Bush and Carter should take a BIG STAND TOGETHER AGAINST THIS MANIAC.  YES.  THEY SHOULD STAND.  AGAINST.  TRUMP.  TOGETHER.

Once a president leaves office, technically they become no different than you and me - everyday citizens.  They may still hold the honorary title of "president", but they don't have any of that "power".  I'm not sure, but they may be a policy forbidding ex-presidents from interfering with or outright condemning future presidents.  Or maybe they're smart enough to shut their mouths.

You brought up an interesting point. I don't know if they are bound in any way.  But, I think it is like the cops.  You don't rat each other out.
