TIME MAGAZINE Person of the Year 16-year-old Greta Thunberg APOLOGIZED for a comment she made. When did head ever apologize for anything?
The comment was "politicians should be put against a wall". The inference was I guess to be shot by a firing square? I dunno. She has been attacked by the head out of pure jealousy envy. Maybe she cracked.
He is the antithesis of good, true, honorable, moral, fair, just, kind. The exact opposite of all that is good. There are folks like him around but he unfortuantely wields power to destroy crush obliterate and having that power in the hands of a madman cannot end well. He is a pariah in New York, detested in California and despoised in many others places. By more people than adore him. But it matters not because his minions ignore their duty to the country and the citizens and spend all their efforts protecting the evil he is. I would like to see them on their judgment day and find out how they will pay for it. Thank you for your reply Shuhak.
Hasn't that saying been around for hundreds of years?
The irony is that many people quote Shakespeare's line ''The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers,'' It's ironic, because it usually means the person thinks it would be good to kill all the lawyers. But the line was stated by Dick the Butcher in ''Henry VI,'' Part II, act IV, Scene II, Line 73. Dick the Butcher was a follower of the rebel Jack Cade, who thought that if he disturbed law and order, he could become king. Shakespeare meant it as a compliment to attorneys and judges who instill justice in society.
Of course, one of Thomas Jefferson's famous quotes (for conservatives) is: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Though I'll bet not ONE conservative in government thinks THEY are a tyrant. lol
