Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» It is a very very very sad thing when a president wants to be king. Delusions of grandeur. Mental defect. Why did we get stuck with THAT?
"We" excused his background (how he lived his life). "We" knew what kind of person he was, but "we" ignored it. Instead, "we" were lulled by his grandiose promises and grandstanding. Many still excuse his wrongdoings. They claim his "good deeds" cancel out any bad. This man loves limelight. He craves it. The more "we" lavish on him (good or bad) the more pompous he becomes.
I think mebbe it's even more worser than that Shuhak. Those who voted for him not only excused and accepted what he is but perhaps secretly admire it. Why else would they have voted for PROVEN rubbish trash? When you admire and support and cheer on evil doesn't it mean if you could do and be what he is you would? I dunno. It's a very odd bizarre puzzle. Not that admirers of rubbish trash exist because I know they do but that there are so many MILLIONS of them. That's the part that boggles minds. At least mine. Thank you for your thoughtfuly reply and Happy Thursday! :)
Obviously he's not noticed that in all the modern democratic nations that are still monarchies, the sovereign has less ruling power in his or her country than the US President has over his!
The monarch is in effect, a neutral Chairman of the Board and Head of State, not of Government, and takes no part in day-to-day politics.
Perhaps the sort of king Trump has in mind, is that of Saudi Arabia or Dubai, hardly democratic nations; though the Saudi king seems not to be the real head of power.
