    I got the notice, but I didn't look at it carefully enough to be able to tell ow much more I will get.  I did notice that my Medicare deduction is higher, so that may negate any increase. :)

    Yes, but medicare insurance also went up .. possibly more than the "generous" SS raise. (at least it was for my mom)

    That is taken into account Shuhak. The $17 is NET MORE after the increase in Medicare. And I think in other years it was more "generous". Perhaps futurely once we get rid of the impeached deadhead and a Dem majority Senate things will be looking up for us. Where there's life there's hope! Thank you for your reply! :)
