Wow! It's up to them to spend their money as they see fit.
But couldn't Bloomberg and Steyer have done much more good spending $200 million on, I don't know, funding food banks, or paying off medical debts, or funding some college scholarships, or...almost anything other than throwing out down the campaign hole in order to get probably less than 10% of the vote?

Well, when you can get the government (whether the United States or Ukraine) to pay for the things you want (renovations to Mar-A-Lago, dirt on the Bidens, etc.), then you don't end up owing anyone anything. That's one of the advantages of being a grifter...
Of course. He got stopped dead cold after he tried to award himself that juicy contract to use Doral for the 2020 G7 meeting. Did you happen to watch/listen to mick mulvaney entreating us to believe that it was the only PERFECT place and he said "they" told him it was as if Doral were made just for that purpose...to host the G7! I mean how much more absurdly ridikkalus and weirdly peculiarly queer can they be than to expect we the people to believe that bullsh**? Of course the impeached deadhead adoring worshippers believe whatever he tells them. SIGH. Everyone says so. That I can tell you. Thank you for your reply SP! :)

How many billionaires are there? Not enough to swing any vote. BUT? They can pay people. They can pay people to vote. Like they can pay lobbyists to get in the right places to PAY. Like they can get lobbyists to influence big money to infiltrate within their particular confines of power to INFLUENCE the partners and underlings to back Bloomie and the other rich moron.
In other words. They can buy the election. Let's hope they can't succeed. But they have a strategy, that is for sure, and it definitely DOES NOT INCLUDE the benefit of the average American. They are just as dangerous as TRUMP. JUST AS DANGEROUS. Because they don't care about the earth and the future and they have more power than GOD.
WE NEED A MIRACLE and I am not too hopeful. I think God is through with the lot of us. We are all to blame for this travesty. ALL OF US. Through neglect, through ennui and wanting our cushy lives to go on and on without doing anything to ensure its longevity.
Which is worse? Cheating and canoodling with hostile foreign countries to meddle in your election to insure you win OR billionaires buying the election? I dunno Sharon. Politics is a dirty business. Some is filthy deadly and some is just dirty. The impeached deadhead has the filthiest deadliest most dangerous and vile reign of terror that ever existed. Can it be worse than he? Doubtfully. Pendulum swings. Before the 2018 midterm election the ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE (GOP) had the majority in the House AND the Senate. They resoundingly LOST the HOUSE in 2018 and quite likely perhaps they will LOSE it in the Senate and we'll get rid of the a**hole president. One can always hope and I do. You and I are not the only one who find the impeached deadhead the spawn of the devil. We the people in the MAJORITY despise him. REVILE HIM. All that directed at him from the MAJORITY of we the people will have an effect and an impact. Sooner rather than later I hope. And all his bogus minions will go down with him in a blaze of glory!
