    Putin.  trump already signed that into law. (I'm kidding)

    Seriously, though -  he can pick whomever he wants.  According to the 25th amendment, a new vice president is chosen by the new president, and that this person takes office following confirmation by both houses of Congress.  Of course there's no hurry here either.  Unlike the position of president, the position of VP doesn't have to be filled immediately.

    It will be interesting to see what happens next. The don of johns (you know what I mean) is getting progressively more unravelly and dingier.
