Much as you dislike President Trump - and I don't think much of him either - I don't think you can blame him here.
Whilst hydraulic fracturing can cause small tremors, they are only very small ones. The natural sort that hit places like Puerto Rica are far more powerful, and you cannot carry out fracturing secretly anyway!
The legal limit imposed by the Government for such fracturing-induced tremors in the UK is miniscule, little more than the vibration of a passing heavy vehicle, if that. Some of those induced by old mine-workings collapsing are stronger, but the rare ones that cause any damage to buildings in the British Isles are all natural. (We have lots of 'quakes but most are detected only by seismographs).
Sarcasm m'dear. Plain and simple. Sarcasm. In Oklahoma where there is fracking going on there have been bazillions if earthquakes. Maybe too small to hit your radar. Your defense of all of this is admirable. I commend you on your even keel keen-eyed views. I do not share them at all but so what? Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to you.
