Trump told a crowd that a bomb went off in New York City HOURS BEFORE the mayor confirmed that it was an intentional act and that it was a bomb. How did Trump KNOW? Lucky guess?

Well, it turns out that he was correct. He honestly should have waited for official word though. 

So did Clinton but the media edited her statement to leave her "bombing" comment out.
Must be nice to have the media cover for you like that...

It was a fairly obvious assumption is all.

Hillary also referred to the 'bombing' in NY before any confirmation that it was an intentional act. But, the media, especially CNN (Clinton News Network) edited that out when they decided to attack Trump for 'jumping the gun.' Regardless, both were correct and it appears more are being set in the NY/NJ area.

That isn't my question Karen. How did he know it was a bomb hours before the mayor said it was done intentionally but was of unknown origin? How did he know and why did he label it as a bomb? As someone else said trump and hillary both mentioned the bomb but only hillary had that edited out to make it look like she had not. I do not think either made a guess and I think both were told as soon as it happened.

Agree. What was edited out by CNN was Hillary saying she'd been "briefed." It would be prudent to advise both candidates of the bombings. I'm sure they were both advised the the NJ bombing earlier in the day.

You probably don't know this but Mr. Trump actually resides in New York City and has contact with many people there. He probably received preliminary information from some of friends/acquaintances/employees about the nature of the blast and then applied the principle of Occam's Razor. It's not all that difficult to tell the difference between the sound of a car backfiring, the sound of a gunshot, the sound of a gas leak exploding or the sound of a modestly-sized bomb detonating. No seance or "inside information" needed.

(Plus, as a Presidential candidate he's constantly being briefed on that kind of stuff.)

It is not a conspiracy. 15 minutes after the officials said the details were not clear. Clinton said on camera, "She had been briefed on the BOMBINGS in New York. And the clip that they chose to show edited that part out. That's a fact.

Yes he said it in a speech. And if he didn't mention it people would claim he was uniformed.

If it sounded like a bomb, smelled like a bomb and did damage like a bomb I suspect someone tweeted that a bomb just went off in their neighborhood.....and that would likely go viral!
