January 11, 61F and thunder showers. What the heck is going on. Oh...I live at latitude 42.

I have news for all.  The planet has NO INTENTION of becoming extinct.  It has all kinds of ways to survive and it does not include the pests that inhabit her now and are doing everything wrong in terms of caring for the environment.

Here was a little ditty from the Doors in the 60's.  Jim Morrison became an inebriated poet and finally died.  And his message has a lot to do with why.

I'm in latitude 39 and it's 61 with rain in the forecast!  (We had 5 inches of snow last week ... remnants still on the ground)  Not sure what the rest of winter will bring??

Not to get too deep on all of us but I must confess.

Currently 63 F. in New York City and mostly cloudy.  Expecting showers tonight into tomorrow morning.  Tueadsy, when I left for work, it was 23 F.  Is it any wonder everyone is hacking and sneezing?
