Perverts and sickos most of them and all down through the ages as well....all power corrupts...more so when it comes to so called royalty Rosie....Tony Blair went to court for doing stuff to a guy in a public toilet when he was a bit younger...he got fined £500 and was prosecuted under his full name and it was all covered up...
I think they generally support the Monarchy to greater or lesser extent, but are not blind to the faults, failings or mistakes of its members; who are after all human.
'Twas ever thus, I suspect, although in the past journalists did treat people generally with more respect than now, even if disagreeing with them. I don't think the lesser respect is purely a journalists' failing; but common throughout much of a society that seems becoming more attracted to coarseness, ignorance, low etiquette and gratuitous sniping rather than constructive criticism.
Nor is that new though. One of Britain's most vicious satirists when he wanted to be, was Jonathan Swift - in the 18C.
