    Personally, I think they carry a pretty fair share of the blame. It's hard for me to believe that after all the lies that were told before the first war against Iraq were exposed, that they can claim ignorance of the fact that the war mongers will tell lies in order to garner support for war. I guess I hold politicians to a higher standard than I do everyday people who believe everything they're told.

    I think we should hold Politicians to a higher standard. Sadly almost all of them are below-average. They may have good intentions at the beginning but get corrupted very quickly and fall right in with the rest them which is to say they do what benefits them and their campaign contributors and we the people don't matter.     Intelligence was 'fiddled' to appease the President, UK Prime Minister, etc., just as the ISIS intelligence being given to the current WH has been fiddled. Sadly, there are those who want to appease their leader rather than giving the facts. The ones to 'blame' are those who fiddle the intelligence rather than those who respond.
