When right wingers SAY they love the Constitution, do they ONLY mean the 1st and 2nd Amendments?

I am for the Constitution as written.

@ Stepper, it's not conservatives that try to stop free speech. Not conservatives that need safe spaces on college campuses because they are afraid of being offered.

I don't think they particularly the first amendment either. Or at least, they don't seem to understand it.

What, exactly, are you ranting about? Got any examples?

So, how many firearms used to commit crimes and atrocities would have actually been kept out of the hands of the perpetrators that committed those acts had they been subjected to that Holy Grail of gun control advocates?

And what, exactly, does a "Universal Background Check" entail? Is checking to see if someone's name is on some arbitrary "No Fly" list and having that disqualify them part of that "check"?

And what part of "shall not be infringed" is unclear to you?

Seems the left are the ones that want to ignore individual rights.

I believe in everyone of the amendments as well.

I think anyone who breaks the law should be prosecuted. That includes illegal aliens.

I believe everyone should get due process including people on the No Fly List.

I also believe anyone who is not compelled by law to make his tax returns public is free to do so without reprisal or harassment.

I believe people should have the right to determine their own health care needs.

It seems to me that the 1st and 2nd Amendments get the most attention from both the right and the left.  Perhaps because they are the two most important, hence their placement at the beginning of the BOR.

As far as what "right wingers" believe, perhaps you should drop the label and ask people as individuals.  Despite what those with a left bent believe, not all those on the right agree.  Just as not all on the left agree on everything.  This should have become clear to all this campaign season given the deep divisions on each side of the aisle.
