    Hyperactive, or ADD children, rarely if ever will concentrate on a useful task for any amount of time before they kick, scream, and have a temper tantrum.

    Yes, but when my youngest daughter who was hyper got on the merry-go-round she got bored easily. Seriously. she had a short attentin span for most things.  We had her in the neighborhood theater, the neighborhood art gallery and the recreation center.  She also volunteered. She still had energy. lol
