I know why some in the military celebrated when dumb don pardoned military war criminal eddie gallagher. Do you?

They are undoubtedly all WAR CRIMINALS too so they know he's gonna pardon them too whenever someone rips off the mask.

Nothing else makes any sense at all. Nothing. Military honor no longer exists under the thumb of dumb on. It's a joke folks.

    Attacking conservative military members.....wow. Again this will not cause one Trump supporter to abandon Trump and will likely cause more to come over to the right.

    In any large enough group (e.g. US military personnel), you will find people of various viewpoints.

    Several Navy SEALS who were familiar with Gallagher were severely critical of him.

    "Military Honor" is an idealized concept which tends to only be even partially functional during times of peace. Once actual shooting starts, it rarely survives.

    I saw/heard those testimonies. Uniformly DISGUSTING. Thank you for your reply SP. I will never understand the military mind that can embrace a 5-time fake bonespur draft dodgers who attacks/malign a dead war hero like John McCain and gets in bed with a wackadoodle crackpot war crimes committer like eddie gallagher. Maybe others can. I cannot. Thank you for your reply SP! :)

    Your followup inquiry is something I have observed elsewhere (e.g. the actor John Wayne is highly regarded by many in the military, yet he avoided actual service. He only made movies about going to war.), but I do not currently have a good explanation for it.

    I'm sure any answer I come up with after much study will begin with, "It's complicated..."...

    I think in truth everything is complicated. It's just that most people aren't smart enough to notice the subtle or the nuance or the fine print or have the abililty to grasp what's implied. So they simplify! Thank you for your reply SP! :)

    You were in the military. I was not. You would know better then what is/isn't. Was there NEVER honor in the military? Audie Murphy? John McCain? All the recipients of the highest honors our country bestows were never honorable? A question arises which of course I shall ask. Thank you for your reply E and Happy Saturday to thee.
