I suppose our genes control all and for every aspect of being whom we are we have a gene that shapes us?
A "smart" gene and a "talent" gene and a "character" gene etcetera and so forth. Of all of them the one most mysterious to me is the TALENT gene. I wonder if it is the rarest? I wonder if some homo saps are missing it?
Which "talent" do you most admire in others? A beautiful voice, the ability to create music or write a poem or a story that pulls you in that you never forget? The talent to make you laugh or make you cry...to make you FEEL?
It would be hard for me to choose which talent I wish I had. I am affected positively by the talents of others...a beautiful poem, a beautiful melody, lyrics that express precisely how I feel, a painting. Take all of them away and what is left?
