You hope the person is ignorant so you provide proof of the truth and discover they just don't care. The truth just doesn't matter to them at all. Time for despair?

Truth used to matter a lot. Now it doesn't. Not  if it gets in the way of "beliefs". So if truth no longer matters is there anything else that does? If it isn't true how valuable is it, how significant, how important, how meaningful can it possibly be?

    When fact goes against the overly devout (brainwashed? ) religious person's beliefs they'll simply claim Satan as the source of all lies and those 'false facts' are just planted in some people's minds to help him rule the world.

    ..Or something like that. I guess their motive is just to give the appearance of being 'true followers' of their religion .. when they are actually being nothing but true followers of the Powers-That-Be who tell them what to believe.

    It's very disheartening when folks don't give a rat's a** about truth Kg. It simply doesn't matter to them.  Things have sure changed from the way it used to be! Thank you for your reply !:)
