I wish that were true. But I think the damage he has caused can never be forgotten or mitigated or extinguished. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. I know this. The donnyjohnny will never be as loved beloved admired respected as is Kobe. Or a mortician. Or a streetsweeper. Or a whore or a gigolo. I believe little donnyjohnny who is little in every imaginable way is the most disrespectable disgusting deviate ever born and he will be remembered that way! Don'tcha think? No, the damage he's done won't just go away when he is dragged kicking and screaming out of office (either next January or in January 2025).  Yes, we will be hearing about the 'trump era' for a long, long time.  But like that of the Fillmore or Harding eras, eventually it'll just be a page in the history books. (long after our time).

Hope so. We can look down upon what comes after after we're elsewhere up there or out there and see a saner society. Never perfect but better. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday Shuhak! :)

His failings are in the millions and one you mention is very kind and benign Nanoose. He never told a truth..the opposite of George Washington. Mebbe that's his more true slogan. "I never told the truth". SIGH. Thank you for your reply Nanoose and Happy Tuesday! :)

He was a super athlete.  I don't know him personally.  I think he was an inspiration to many and I think he would have done great things with his fame and money.

It has a sense of JFK, Jr. dying.  Not that it is the same thing at all, but just how out of the blue it was.  SO shocking and both died in the air.

His family has got to be in total shock and despair.  I pray for them.

As for President Scum, he is not fit to wipe the crap off Kobe's Nikes.   This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at January 28, 2020 1:26 AM MST

That his 13-year-daughter Gianni who was following in his Basketball footsteps died with him is what make it so unbearably sad here in California. They were apparently on their way to a basketball practice for Gianni. That  Kobe was an extremely talented athlete AND he was also morally a worthless bum early on and he completely turned his life around and became a totally different person. A great dad, a great human being, a great advocate for women's talents being heralded. So much about him I did not know until I read about all the good he does...did. Another good one does when there so many awful ones who wouldn't be missed of whom we would say GOOD RIDDANCE. I know I don't have to specify any particular one. You KNOW. Thank you for your reply Sharon and Happy Tuesday! :) This post was edited by RosieG at January 28, 2020 1:32 AM MST

    "What's that smell?"

(Perhaps James Jones---an American civil rights preacher, faith healer and cult leader who conspired with his inner circle to direct a mass suicide and mass murder of his followers in his jungle commune at Jonestown, Guyana will supply Kool Aid for any followers.) Well allegedly George Washington was known for never telling a lie. Don's epitaph could read "I NEVER TOLD THE TRUTH". That should be his campaign slogan for 2020. "NEVER TELL THE TRUTH". 'Keep 'em guessing". Exchanging one hostage for another occurs from time to time. Exchanging one death for another? It's something we can think about but doesn't happen. Too bad. I can think of the death others/another that would have served us far better but then I don't run things. Thank you for your reply tom and Happy Tuesday! :)
