Have you ever told someone a lie with the hopes that you WOULDN’T be believed? That defeats the entire purpose.

  • At one of my jobs, I had a rather large, odd looking seashell sitting on my desk.  My boss asked me, "What IS that??"   I told him it was something I had surgically removed.  He said, "OMG, why do you have it here???"  I told him I was proud of it!

    I thought he would have known I was lying .. LOL!  Oh well, he went away and left me alone.
