In my case a complement Rosie.....Im the image of my mother when she was my age now twentyish years ago ....I think I've said before ,my mum has an identical twin sister and they still look so alike apart form slight variations of their hair lengths....My dad still gets to grips with my aunt ,it is still hard to tell them apart....my aunts daughter ,my cousin still looks like my twin to...we are the same hight and body type even now ...:)
Wow I think that is SO COOL D! My sister and I look nothing at all alike. I resemble our mom and she resembles our dad but we are soulmates now that we're "of a certain age"! It's really amazing how what she writes and how she writes is almost exactly like the way I do including the same word choices! ESPECIALLY when we discuss dumb don! She cracks me up all the time. I'm very proud of my BABY sister. But I guess that's normal. I'm 7 years older so when we were younger we didn't really have that much in common. The years wear away the differences and the similarities are what stay and get stronger and bolder as we get older! I think I'm gonna ask that question.Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply. What about other than looks? Temperament personality similar or different?
I'm the same as my mothers in so many ways although far more cranky than she ever dare be back then... I do the most outrageous things to people and my mother was far more prim and propper than me...I have my fathers sense of humour....what he thinks at the time he just does... My mother though always had a calming effect on him until she stopped looking.... I don't think I ever took notice of anything they said.....if I started a prank ,I had to Finnish it....lol
I'm the exact opposite D. Neither a prankster nor an enjoyer of pranks. Some folks can pull them off with jaunty grace while others always fall flat on their faces. While I have a good imagination I'm best at being completely honest open and well dull. Never will trip any one up on purpose. Never have or will set anyone up. Not my cuppa tea. There are celebrities like Brad Pitt and George Clooney who through the years of their friendships have played OUTRAGEOUS pranks on one another. They allegedly try to outdo one another and often do. So I think there's no harm and a lot of fun if both sides have the same sense of humor. Thank you for your reply! :)
It never that case of wanting to hurt or belittle anyone Rosie...a bit of embarrassment maybe, but always best just laughed off...some high jinks go on for years and one never knows when the others given up or forgotten about things.. Lol
