I do/say what I think is right and I gladly take the hits I get for it. Those are the only consequences I experience. I'm not important enough for anything else but being criticized by complete strangers whom I shall never in my life meet in person on an internet social site. Big deal.  Doesn't bother me one bit what people think who criticise me for that. It's what I do. Isn't that what you do too? Why else show up if you don't do that?

    It's odd. I was 5' 6-1/2. My sis was 5' 10" and she is now 5' 7". The same with Jim. They both have BAD backs so they both shrunk. I still a solid 5' 6" at 82 so I don't think I'm gonna shrink much if any. If you've only shrunk an inch your back hopefully is solid and strong! Thank you for your reply! :)

    You're fortunate.  My back is pretty good and my bone density is great, so I'm probably as short as I'm going to be.  :)
