Today is the day Hillary talks about the alt-Right brand at her

This name was new to me, but I kept running into it in my daily readings, so I decided to try to find out what it was. I did find an interesting article on Breitbart by Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo, in case you don't know by now, is a provocateur for Breitbart. His job is to provoke the audience as a means of attracting attention. This entertains some people.

Milo's article is called "An Establishment Conservative's Guide to the Alt-Right", published March 29,2016. So you see, Breitbart's plan for this "movement" is relatively new. It is their creation of grouping those on the fringes of society together.

Another writer I encountered called Milo's article a "manifesto". I hardly think so, but maybe it looks that way to some people. Milo broke down the list into these groups: (for some of you who do not want to bother looking up the article, and dismiss the name "alt-Right)

1. The intellectuals. Those inspired by Oswald Spengler, M.L. Mencken, Julius Evola, Sam Francis, Pat Buchanan, and Richard Spencer. Richard founded Alternative Right.com. Also includes isolationists, Pro-Russians, etc.
2. Natural conservatives. Mostly white, male, middle-America radicals, who embrace new identity politics. He means "white supremacists".
3. The meme team. Young rebellious contingents who feel a mischievous urge to blaspheme, break rules, and say the unsayable, because it's funny. I call them trolls of the worse kind. They are on social media, esp. Twitter.
4. The 1488RS. These are the Nazis. I call them the Neo-Nazis.

Anyway, this article is from the Breitbart perspective. Just because I like researching stuff doesn't mean I approve or agree with it. If this is the way politics is going, I think it is worth looking into. IMO.

  • I can't believe Hillary said or did anything bad - not REALLY bad.
