Going to a ceilidh tomorrow night; very uncertain what to wear under my kilt. The formal dancers from the local RSCDS will certainly expect something. I'd really like to give my kilt a good fling but my wife may not be up for it. There's only four public dances anyway, probably including the relatively sedate Gay Gordons. I might join up with another couple for the Britannia two step. I love the Strip the Willow and the Dashing White Sergeant but this would give the wife a chance to mope.
If anyone is still interested, I opted for the natural briefs so that I could give the kilt a good fling being up for most of the dancers mostly with the good dancers. The wife did get two dances and did not mope. The briefs came off as soon as the dancing finished.
