Ah.. I only had the 45. It was green. I thinki was in 5 grade at the time and the only 2 albums i owned at the time were KISS, ALIVE II and the SPINNERS, RUBBER BAND MAN. ..but I had quite a few of ELO's singles on 45. It must have been their answer to that Beethoven's 5th with all the funky disco organ and bass music accompaniments that came out about that same time. ..anyway, if you havent seen it yet, here's a link to some Jeff Lynne (ELO singer/guitar) and many other legends on stage and being blown away by Prince's skills as he takes second solo in late George Harrison's classic, MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS.

My point is that we had no idea what the future had in store for us so we had no idea what we were missing so we didnt spend our time being resentful.. Im sure it was a similar experience for those who came before us... Just some food for thought... More like a snack really. ..a snack for thought..
