It is a path to being appointed head of something as large as the VA. Wonder how this new head will do at the job. It seems to be a particularly impossible job to do well.

Being unmarried was the last thing any woman wanted to be so she married whatever person was willing to marry her and then hung in no matter what. That was then. Women have the vote now. Women can support themselves and their children so they don't need men to do that for them. You'd think by now women would be extremely supportive of a woman prez but it seems that isn't so. Even though they escaped the stereotype themselves of women being only good for sex, having and raising kids, and housekeeping they still buy into it by voting for a vermin man rather than any woman.
