When we have difficulties processing it.

The result may include emotional outbursts (anger) and/or emotional 'inbursts' (anger, frustration).  While some may 'go numb', a few may experience physical maladies.

The cure for information overload is to - 'turn off, tune out, and relax' (and don't forget to breathe).

We do m'dear. Oftener than we used to. The History Channel, Science Channel, TCM (Turner Classic Movies). Yesterday we got so charged up. We watched a movie "Blossoms in the Dust" about a real person..Edna Gladney. She was quite wonderful. But what shocked us? Well Jim was born in Savoy, Texas and his aunt/uncle lived in Sherman where he visited them when he was young. GUESS WHERE THE Children's Home began? Guess where she and her husband lived? SHERMAN, TEXAS! What are the odds of that? I get goosebumps when things like that crop up. How many cities are there in Texas? That we happened upon a movie about which we had never heard that took place in Sherman? And is based on the life of a REAL person? It does not get better than that! Thank you for your reply m'dear. We do that a lot more lately. Run away. I don't have to explain the why to you because I know you do that too! :) This post was edited by RosieG at February 8, 2020 4:25 PM MST
