Sorry. This stuff turns me off and leaves me very cold. Anything that passes for Christian has totally turned me off. Anyone who sides with Christians is siding with the wrong religion to me. Like Republicans, Christianity has NOTHING to do with Jesus to me. NOTHING at ALL.
And yet she publicly joins protest marches to end capital punishment. She is the only Christian artist to gladly be interviewed by gay publications like "The advocate" and "Out". She has a fan club called "Gay friends Of Amy". She is a tireless philanthropist lending her name and money to many causes, cancer research and education being one of them. She often supports democratic agendas. She is sweet. Non judgmental. and her music is quite often happy, pleasant, loving. I am drawn to these things.
Sadly it is your words that sound most critical and judgmental.

You are so right. Me despising Christians is too easy. I despise Evangelicals. Is she one of those? Jimmy Carter is the only Evangelical I can get next to.
Sorry, Amy. Me hating Christians is just stupid. I don't know her. And it is as bad as people who hate Muslims when they have no clue what they are talking about.
Its understandable. We live in such a time of divisiveness and darkness that its hard not to let it affect all of us for the worse at times. We need role models and leaders in high places who know how to conduct themselves with dignity and compassion toward others but instead we see daily that our figureheads are disgustingly flawed. In the meantime we must hold tightly to love while hate consumes itself and all those who follow after it.

You can give me crap. I am SO late to this party. I have totally skipped hip hop. Until now. Now everyone I like has hip hop music, so it's all good. I will listen.
Lol no! the first one isn’t crap, I do like it but it’s more making fun of gangsta music or mocking it. I like it though, even though I’m a total gangsta myself ...
I had wool pants like that yellow, red, green plaid guy's pants. I wore it with a yellow, cropped cardigan. And I had like dark red, platform (1974) platform shoes on. Oh man, what made me think this was a good idea? They were bell bottom too. And the platform shoes were saddle shoes. I thought I was hot.
