Obviously his faith is far stronger than any fear. That's why Mitt Romney said what he said and did what he did. The others who caved?

Their FEAR of the don is far greater and far stronger than their religious beliefs.

Can you imagine GOD buying the why we get from the don base? "We vote for policy not character"? How well do you think that will go over on judgment day when they will have to EXPLAIN how they could have sacrificed themselves to dirty don the most evil among men?

I would not want to be any of them. They think they are getting away with something. Perhaps short-term temporarily they are. But what about long-term?

Those who still go to church and pray to GOD despite their supporting the evil that is don will surely have a special place in he** or wherever they end up for eternity. It will not be pleasant I expect. It will be exactly what they earned/deserved. Now what's wrong with getting exactly what you deserve?

The Scribes and Pharisees were proud of their piety. Jesus had a very low opinion of them. Hypocrites. Matthew 25: 41-46. Look it up.
There's also Matthew 19: 24. Some say the "eye of a needle" is a euphemism for the gate in the Jerusalem wall. It's not. Had Jesus intended to reference the gate, he'd have said eye of THE needle, but in the Greek the definite article (ho) is missing. Ergo, he's talking about what you do your darning with. Probably talking about the very heavy needles used for mending fishing nets, given what most of the Apostles did for a living, but still quite unsuitable for passing camels through.

I see you are not impressed nor moved. Different strokes R. From where I sit I think they are all full of sh** except Mitt Romney. You see differently. We are not wired the same in this regard. To each his/her own. Ever it shall be thus. Looking it up will not change my opinion. I am convinced that Romney is more honorable than those who have rolled over beg lie down and sit on command. Of course I am in the middle of it and you are a far=distrant observer. Our views OF NECESSITY cannot be the same. Looking in and looking out give vastly difference perspectives. Thank you for your reply and Happy Valentine's Day Friday! :)

You misunderstand me. The so-called "Christians" in the Senate who support His Royal Orangeness fall into the first category. All of them, Mitt included, are wealthy so they all fall into the second. Only Mitt is making even a token effort, the others aren't even doing that. Jesus was a socialist, his cousin John the Baptist practically a Marxist.
