    A rocky one... but it has been known to work.  Many relationships  - even lasting ones - have been forged between people of completely opposite personalities.  While it will take more work and patience to maintain than a like-minded relationship, it sometimes can yield a better relationship.

    How "better"? Whether it is platonic or romantic I see only misery ahead for the loving outgoing trusting one. I don't care what lies ahead for the reserved austere suspicious one. Not my cuppa tea on any level in any universe. Ever. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. Can you see yourself with an exact opposite for any kind of meaningful relationship?
