Someone needs a hug. Someone is bent out of shape and SOMEONE is totally out to lunch here.
Why do you keep trying to impose your opinion about my RANTS all the time anyway? Give it up already.
I am not that big of a ranter actually. I happen to know most people on here and if I rant it is because there is something abrewing in the wind.
As far as this grammar complaint? I have heard it about 50 times now. SO PARDON ME IF YOU ARE REPEATING the same old thing again.
Anyone who is so thin-skinned that they cannot take a grammar critique, needs to do some serious growing up.
Anyone who wants to run and hide from this site because someone told them the comma is missing, needs to get a life.
:-)
Humour is something some people find difficult whatever the situation. :)
If one cannot use humour for any reason, it still takes more energy to be unpleasant than not. It also says far more about the person giving such a 'correction' than the error ever could about the original poster.
Well, since I have retired from that my answer is moot.
Sapph and WW would make wonderful leaders. Very Presidential.

I doubt it. No reason.
I wouldn't think so. I don't.
I can't read minds.
I just want to point out that Shakespeare himself intentionally misspelled words. He did it though for rhetorical effect. There were names for these even. The unbrella term is metaplasm (metaplasmus). The schemes of addition (adding letters or syllable) are prosthesis (at the beginning), epenthesis (at the middle), and proparalepsis (at the end). There are also schemes of subtraction and they are aphaearesis, syncope, and apacope.
Well I really hope I didn't misspell anything HEEERE.
Thank you for including this angle of the grammar and spelling to the discussion. I love it, it just shows that language is living, it always has been and it shouldn't be hold all tight. We can still communicate with each other, even if we don't do it grammatically correct.
Happy Friday, and enjoy Captain Shakespeare...
Danke.
Exactamente.
Food, wine, nature... Yes. The language sounds lovely too. Unfortunately I cannot speak it any other than a few words. :-)
Haha, eating naturally can be heavenly'ish. I have always been wondering why someone would move to another country if they didn't want to get part of that society. Language will be one of the first things to get a grip off in order to get integrated. Hmm.
At least you can be proud of some of the humor created in your country. I love Monty Python.
How fitting for you to speak German. To hail the awesomeness of the third ... do you and your European friends, and have German parties, goose step much??
And I'm using European her in a very loose way. If there's an ocean between you and the rest of Europe, then you're not part of it. I don't know , right?
Ask your friend, about it, that's why they kicked England land out of the Pacific Rim.
Go figure.
