If you mean getting on with my day-to-day life regardless of who holds that office (most of whom in my lifetime have ranged from ineffectual to downright venal), I am well practiced at that.
What do you mean by "get behind?"
The President, regardless of party, does not really give two figs what I think. If I disagree with his (or hers, should that eventually happen) actions, I will say so. If I approve of his or her choices, I will also say so.
Will I automatically support the goals and wishes of whomever wins the presidential election simply because he (or she, if it happens) happens to be the winner? Of course not. We elect a President, not a dictator.
Fortunate for us we have a real president, tough and putting America first, not just a figurehead like previous presidents. I look at other country's current figureheads and it's nothing but reality TV.
In order for me to know whether you have any idea what you are talking about, you would need to operationaize your terms and measure various world leaders (including past presidents) using that consistent set of operationalized standards.
Please forgive me that I am skeptical you have done so.

Your comment above does nothing to address the comment I made. You have stated your opinion. As I noted, because you do not define what you mean by "real president", "tough", "putting America first", "figurehead", or "reality TV" and explain how various world leaders measure up under those definitions, we have very little basis for discussion.
You may just as well have said, "I like chocolate ice cream better than vanilla." That's a perfectly legitimate claim about your ice cream preferences. It does not, however, establish that chocolate ice cream is objectively superior to vanilla ice cream in any sense.
No, not necessarily as this is our human, thinking, right - we aren't ants or plebs.. we have the right to dislike someone in power if they are an idiot! Indeed, it could be said to be pretty stupid and irresponsible to support an idiot leader.
