Do you think there will be civil war no matter who wins the presidency?

    Oh, sure.

Maybe not in the next 4-8 years, but in a country where 3 men control as much wealth as the bottom 50% of the country's population, there will eventually be enough desperate people who have nothing left to lose who will riot and disrupt normal civil order.

That's pretty much "baked into the cake" regardless of the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

I think most of us realize that we will probably never be part of the 1%.  All most people are seeking is a good job that pays well, a nice home, the ability to keep our families safe and comfortable and have something left over for doing fun things.  We want good health care and to be able to put away enough money to live a comfortable retirement.  That is not too much to ask when you compare it to those who have more money than they could spend in ten lifetimes.  The middle class, which has been the economic spine of the economy, is shrinking and, eventually, we will be like any other country which has only two classes - the exceedingly rich and the exceedingly poor.  That's when the revolt is most likely to happen.
