It was a Christmas card to my Dad (who passed away earlier that year), Mom, and my sister.  I put it in the mailbox about a week before and sent it round trip.  My sister retrieved it and showed it to Mom who got a kick out of it, a little cheering up.

January 2020.   I sent my friend a hand-made birthday card.  I didn't feel like walking the nearly 3000 miles to hand deliver it, so I mailed it instead. (I also send handmade christmas cards to my friends every year).

Congratulations.  In today's world, 15 years is a long time.

Last Sunday, I gave my sister and her husband an anniversary card.  I hand delivered it as I was vising at the time.  I usually mail it, though.
