No. I do not trust mail in voting. Invites fraud.

    No machines.  Paper ballots only.

Open more polling stations if lines are too long. I have never had to wait more than 30 to vote anywhere.

What is the population of the town in which you live and vote m2c? I believe Los Angeles has millions of registered voters. SIZE MATTERS. Thank you for your reply! :)

Larger size = More polling stations.  (LA's millions do not all vote in one place. At least they should not be that would be silly)
Also paper ballots allow more people to vote at one time.  Just set-up another table.

  • Here in Georgia, for the first time we have both a paper trail and an electronic tabulation of votes. Since I'm not a computer geek, the poll worker had to instruct me. It seemed like a satisfactory method. You don't indicate if these problems were local or in some other area but I'm one that has no tolerance for unreliable poll workers or equipment. There's really no acceptable excuse for such in a nation that could put a man on the moon. And yeah I know that I sound like a crabby old man. Maybe me and Bernie could get together and replicate the "Statler and Hilton" Muppet routine and get some changes going.

It occurred in California among other locations HG. How large is the town in which you live and vote? SIZE MATTERS. There are millions of registered voters in Los Angeles. If you live in Praorie Ridge or Seaview where the population is relatively small your problems would concomitantly be relatively small too. Please avoid CRABBY. Bernie is crabby enough for all of us. Crabby is not an attractive trait. Unless of course you are a Muppet. You aren't so no crabby okey dokey? Thank you for your reply! :)

I miss the days of polling places in Washington and Oregon.
Every one I used, volunteers kept snacks supplied.  lol
Plus, you'd sometimes see people you hadn't seen in a while, and get caught up.

Your state is having a terrible time with the COVID 19 Walt. Other states will slowly by slowly be revealed to be in dire straits too. The US is so far behind the curve of testing it is humiliating. When all those who should be tested are tested only then will we know the extent of the crisis. I haven't heard dumb don refer to COVID 19 as a hoax for a couple of days. Wonder why? Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

I wouldn't say "terrible" ... considering there are under 30 cases, so far.
And they seem to be centered around 1 or 2 locations.

Appears to be the same demographics as are threatened by the flu ... or even the "common cold".
People in "assisted living" and their caretakers.

it is especially dangerous for those over 80. I'm 82 and Jim is 84. But we in the US are only at the very beginning Walt having an administration that spent weeks insisting it was a hoax. We are just now beginning to test people so we have idea what the extent of it will be finally. Thank you for your reply. Governor Newsome declared a state of emergency in California on Wednesday. I expect your Governor already did so. Good luck to everyone. Especially us old folks! :) This post was edited by RosieG at March 5, 2020 7:40 AM MST

Paper ballots and your finger dipped in purple ink so the Republicans can't claim you voted twice.
