Rich people like Republicans hugely because they make rich people richer and screw the poor. Opinion/observation/fact/lie? WHY?

Democrat or Republican, being wealthy, in and of itself, isn't wrong. How one uses wealth is where many of the problems begin. For some, money becomes their sole object of pleasure and power. For some, money becomes their personal god and with it comes the heartache and destruction. Yet others use their wealth for the benefit of humanity. It depends on the mental and moral makeup of the wealthy individual. 

  As an interesting side note, according to Investors Business Daily, there are 269 millionaires among Congress's 535 members. And most of them are Democrats and they far outspend Republicans on elections. It isn't even close. According to OpenSecrets.org, from 1989 to 2014 rich donors gave Democrats $1.15 billion — $416 million more than the $736 million given to the GOP. Among the top 10 donors to both parties, Democrat supporters outspent Republican supporters 2-to-1. So it seems that the Democrats aren't the party of the little guy after all. As I said above, it all depends on what the rich people's priorities are. :)
