I have a question for you sweetie and you don't have to answer it if you don't want. What is the most expensive pair of shoes you ever bought (in US dollars unless you can tell me what the exchange rate was when you bought them)! Too nosy? No worries. I once paid $500 for a pair of shoes. I returned them and got my money back. They were BEAUTIFUL shoes but $500? I was feeling very spiffy that day and it was a very high-end high-class shopping mall with all the top designer brands having stores there. I just could not in good conscience keep those shoes. I never wore them outside the house. Didn't want to scuff them up. I returned them within a week and got my money back. My only other extravagance was a Movado watch. It was a $1000 watch but I bought it at the local shopping outlet for $500. It was not a second. It was perfectly fine. I have never regretted it. It is called "the museum watch" because it's in some museum for its elegant design. I think it is the most beautiful watch I have ever seen. Thank you for your reply D! :) I think otherwise the most I ever paid for shoes was around $75 and that was when they were on sale. :)
I have many expensive pairs Rosie.....in £ Pounds they are around £ 2000 or $ 2600 dollars...I would never pay that myself, who I live with brings them home for me ... Because they cost a lot more, doesn't mean they are all comfortable... Mine have their own room...I keep them in see through plastic boxes.... I don't know why I buy so many..I can't possibly wear them all...I give a lot away to my family and friends....at a guess ,I must have around six hundred pairs....there are just far to many to count.....:(
Home is a place I'd like to escape from. Not that I don't like it here (hooray, no people), but instead of being a sanctuary it feels more like a prison. Hard to explain.
