Perhaps Bernie wants everyone to love him because he feels that is the only way he can win the election. Just a thought on my part. If by "establishment" you mean Republicans then I can understand why they don't love him. If by "establishment" you mean Democrats then I can also understand why there is no love there because he has been heard to say, on more than one occasion, that he despises Democrats. Not to mention that he hovers between the Independent and Democratic parties. So basically if Bernie focuses only on those who adore him, he knows he is dead in the water. I mean how many people are there that honestly adore him?  :)

When he says "establishment" ... he means both the political establishment, and the media.
He is trying to portray himself as an outsider and underdog.
Though someone who has been a US Representative for 16 years, and a Senator for 13 ... I don't think they are an outsider.
They are PART OF the political establishment.

And if he hasn't learned to "work" the media in almost 30 years of politics in Washington DC ... I don't see that speaking well of his leadership abilities.

He is just like dumb don who is always whining and insists he is a victim. How is bernie any different? Why not focus on whatever strengths he has and stop kvetching that everyone doesn't adore him? I don't get it. Isn't he supposedly passably intelligent? It doesn't show and that's his fault. Thank you for your repy Walt and Happy Tuesday! :)
