Not a lot of reported cases. The only deaths have been people who were already in palliative care.
I'm not fussed, tbh. There has been panic buying of, believe it or not, TOILET PAPER - which is annoying, because people who only want one pack (like me) sometimes can't get it, as morons have been buying it by the cartload. It's flu - causes a runny nose, not explosive diarrhoea. Get lots of tissues for the OTHER end, if you're worried.
I'm neither elderly nor immunocompromised, so if I do get it, I'll get better.
Well both Jim and I are over 80...me at 82 and he at 84 so we are in the high-risk group. Of course it affects us or has the potential to affect very severely. Glad your country is doing OK so far. Yesterday I think Italy quarantined the entire country. I have no idea how that is accomplished. Wonder what the stockmarket will do today? Yesterday was a hoot and holler and perhaps today it will shoot back up 6000 points and be back to normal. Or it will plunge again. Buckle up. Think we're heading for a GLOBAL RECESSION?
