  • Nope. Very glad I do not have to travel. I am staying home, which makes my job a lot more difficult but I'm doing what I can.

Not a chance.  even if I wanted to fly somewhere, I wouldn't.  Seeing those crowds at the major airports make me think that the airports are like Petrie dishes now.  Good luck to you.

Actually, the airports I was in, Palm Beach International and LaGuardia, weren't too crowded and my flight was fairly empty.

You're lucky.  A lot of folks are afraid to fly.

    That's why it wasn't crowded.

My last flight was 1987. It was my last flight.

Nope. But I am going to work. Still seeing people daily so people are traveling.

My daily travel consists in a 2-mile, 10-minute bus ride into work. I am trying to avoid unnecessary rail travel at the moment - at least on intercity trains and at peak times. I rarely fly anyway so that is one aspect of my lifestyle I won't have to change.

the farthest I am traveling is a three minute walk to work

i am supposed to visit my family in the US in a few months but honestly I have a feeling it’s not going to be possible

It will be possible, but it might be delayed.  Maybe not.  One day at a time.  :)

canadas borders are closed to everyone but the US (and maybe Mexico?) so if it stays that way maybe we could go, but I still wouldn’t want to take the chance. i hope everything gets somewhat under control soon.

It's going to be months, probably at least five.  We just have to get used to that idea.  I don't like being close to people anyway, so I'm good.  :)

Not flying, but riding public transport to and from work. The lack of TP on supermarket shelves is a bigger problem than COVID, at least in Australia.

Barely made it out of Canada on Monday, airports were a Ghost Town, plane nearly empty.  All major ski areas are closed or will be closed by tomorrow.  BC halted almost all restaurant operations on Tuesday as well as other gathering spots to combat Covid-19

Austrian Air temporarily halted all Air Operations on Wednesday for at least a month.  A number of other carriers are doing the same.  So I am at home for a month at least
