You're not supposed to be clothes shopping.
Our clothings stores are not allowed to be open if that is all they sell.

I have not noticed if changing rooms are closed. This post was edited by my2cents at March 29, 2020 6:51 AM MDT

Okay thanks, I haven’t been into town since the non essential services thing started here. I thought I read clothing stores still open because clothing is essential. I was wondering how the frack that would work though. They must all be closed.

I was at a Target store yesterday, the fitting rooms were all shuttered.

Makes sense.  But then you have to take it home to try on and then return from your home if it does not fit.  I wonder if they have precautions for clothing returns now....Lysol spray it or quarintine for 2 days.

A lot of stores I’ve been to since COVID19 began have altered their return policies to almost absolute zero as to which items they’ll take back.

Haha, at least good motivation for people to stay in shape during lockdown.

Lol, my boss sent out an email to a bunch of us working from home about ways to stay active like running up and down our staircases while on lockdown. I feel like he was ordering us all not to get fat -_-

    What about a haircut? A mani-pedi, or a wax?

    Anybody noticed?

They are closed pretty much everywhere. Which is my point.

I did notice the hair salons, luckily for me I had just got my hair done a week or so before all this blew up. I was talking to a girlfriend of mine other day who is pretty upset about her hair situation lol. I think when life gets back to normal it will be the hair and nail salons that are busiest and overloaded for the first few months back.

Not being much for either of these things myself, my daughter, pampered princess that she is, brought this to my attention.

My wife is a beauticIan, she was sent home about two weeks ago. There’s absolutely no way her job can be done online.

That sucks, I know if I couldn’t still at least work from home I would be completely losing my mind. The most frustrating part must be not knowing when going back to work.  On the bright side, she now has more time for sandwich making :)

Hold on, I her to hear it from you. I have for years tried to convince her that there’s a bright side to sandwich-making, but all she does is calls Jane S and they discuss the benefits of restraining orders. I’ll pass the phone to her and you tell her what you just told me.
