Has it hit you yet that best case scenario predicts 100,000-240,000 COVID19 deaths, and that's just in the U.S.?

That's a lot of people for "best case".

    There is no "best case" in any of this. All the numbers quoted are worst case. What really makes it worse is that there are way too many zeros in these figures.

    Yep. Potentially more Americans than died in WWII and 9/11. Combined. 

    But President Caligula says his poll numbers are higher, so then it all worked out.

    That is actually not what the Drs said.  They said if we continue the recommendations, we can drive that number down.   That that model drives a lot from NY and NJ numbers.  The other 48 states are possible not to reach such levels.

  • Never fear, we're picking up steam hear.  In the last couple of days in my county six cases have popped up.  People are complacent with that "It won't happen here/to me" crap.  EVERYONE should be sheltering in place!

    We have more cases but ours are not as serious. Worldwide serious cases are 5%. USA 2-3% serious cases.

    Those are stats for Apr 1 2020. 

    Stats are from worldometers.com 
    I have been screenshotting each day...the yesterday results so it is an accurate comparison day to day.
