Don't you love the wacko theory about 5G towers causing the coronavirus?

Especially with all these celebrities like Woody Harrelson claiming it's true when they have no idea what they're talking about?

i didn’t even realize woody harrelson was still relevant but ok

im not even sure how that would work tho because it’s a virus and 5G is like... 5G

now that’s what I call mental gymnastics

  • They're claiming that the radiation from the tower weakens your immune system, making you more susceptible to the virus. Of course they have no evidence to support such a claim.

I've never heard that theory, but knowing how stupid people are, it probably exists.  (Is Woody Harrelson still alive?  I haven't heard of him since the 90's... not that I really cared then)

Yeah ... he did those Zombieland movies.  The second came out last year.

I don't think the radiation from cell towers
is good for you at all, But i understand the
    Covid 19 came from Bats.
We have a cell tower on one
of the roofs of the buildings that i
take care of, and when i walked close
to the tower while working on the roof
all of the hairs on my arm stood straight up.
    and my arms were tingling.

we has Some cell towers on the roof of the building I used to live in, i bet the people in the apartment directly below were getting irradiated every day

That theory is a new one for me and I have to agree with you about celebrities not knowing what they are talking about.

It must be true if self-appointed epidemiologist Woody Harrelson says so.

I don't understand why people listen to actors, when they don't take advice from prostitutes.
I mean, they both make a living by getting paid to do what someone else wants with their bodies.
Seriously.  How is an actor any better than a prostitute?

180 scientists from 35 different countries came out against 5G, since it penetrates the body and so significantly increasing exposure to RF-EMF, so some must think there is cause for concern, the link below is a download.

    https://ehtrust.org/wp-content/uploads/Scientist-5G-appeal-2017.pdf

Here's another paper download, which shows the dangers of 5G

     https://arxiv.org/pdf/1711.03683.pdf

Conclusions from paper -  This paper has highlighted the significance of human RF
exposure issue in downlink of a cellular communications
system. This paper measured the exposure level in terms of
PD and SAR, and compared them to those calculated in the
Release 9 as a representative of the current mobile communications technology. Distinguished from the prior art that studied
uplinks only, this paper has found that the downlinks of a 5G
also yield significantly higher levels of PD and SAR compared
to a Release 9. Our results emphasized that the increase stems
from two technical changes that will likely occur in 5G: (i)
more APs due to deployment of smaller cells and (ii) more
highly concentrated RF energy per downlink RF beam due to
    use of larger phased arrays.
As such, unlike the prior work, this paper claims that RF
fields generated in downlinks of 5G can also be dangerous in
spite of far-field propagations. Therefore, we here urge design
of cellular communications and networking schemes that force
an AP to avoid generation of RF fields if pointed at a human
user with an angle yielding a dangerous level of PD and SAR.
To this end, this paper identifies as the future work proposition
of techniques that reduces human exposure to RF fields in 5G
    downlinks.

I have noticed in my area that the coronavirus has not halted the instalment of 5G. This post was edited by kjames at April 6, 2020 3:12 PM MDT

But none of that proves that it's causing the coronavirus.

I was trying to edit my answer Stu and my internet connection failed, but in response, I am not saying it is causing the coronavirus, all I'm saying from what I have witnessed in the UK, the coronavirus is not stopping it's instalment, the 5G network is obviously for the big corporations and companies, an "essential" work.  Just as 5G's ability to give us 3D emoji’s appears to be an essential must have, whether it increases our risk of cancer or not, bearing in mind the World Health Organisation, and the International Agency for the Research on Cancer, classify all RF radiation as a 2B carcinogen which means "possibly carcinogenic to humans." This classification was made in 2011 and is outdated, since the RF radiation flooding our environment now, is completely unmonitored, and I think it’s worth bearing in mind that in the UK, one in two people will get cancer in their lifetime.

I thought 5G was protecting me from the virus. Should I go back to wrapping my head in tin foil?

Well, if it sells advertising space or time why not. Didn't the chupacabras, the living megalodon, the Cuban two-headed giant,  and the monuments on Mars, issue from some small newspaper office where drumming up business had become a matter of greater profit or extinction?
